30 ways to be happy.. try it out!!

- life is full of ups and downs. In order to experience happiness u must experience other emotions, including sadness and anger, to some degree nearly every day. The ideal is u should work towards is to be accepting of what u have and who u are, to enjoy life whenever possible and to feel happy most of the time.

- nobody is going to be happy every moment. Life is not like that. Happiness needs to be earned, worked at and appreciated.

1) change ur way of thinking. Obviously to the more positive ways. Do it bit by bit. U know u surely can do that!

2) Starts praying and really mean it.

3) Never push urself too hard. All work and no play makes jack a dull boy. (pst : sorry jack!)

4) Have some really good rest. Doesn’t matter when, where or with who. As long as in the end u feel content with urself (here, I mean body, mind and soul)..

5) keep a journal or photos of all the good things that make u feel happy.

6) get some perspective on thing. Don’t just focusing on the bad stuff around you.

7) don’t let the small stuff bug u.

8) do any unpleasant or difficult chores that need doing. Don’t put it off any longer.

9) change ur routine. Predictability is sooooooo boringgggg!!!

10) don’t try to keep up with others. In the end, u are always ur own self.

11) Have a big clean out and divest urself of useless ‘stuff’.

12) Learn to say NO.

13) Remember to love ur partner for who she/he is.

14) Don’t let familiarity breed contempt.

15) Tell ur partner, family n friends that u love them. Or to all the one that matters to you.

16) Are u always a shoulder to lean on for troubled friends? Try not to be quite so available all the time.

17) Phone, email, even write to some old friends.

18) Enhance ur mood with greenery – it fill the house with life and vitality. The greenery part is optional of course ^_^. Blue, red, yellow or any color also can. Haha. As long as you enjoy doing it.

19) Go to the beach or someplace u’ve never been before.

20) Create something. Doesn’t matter what the result is. It’s the process getting it done. Well, no pressure for sure.

21) Breathe fresh air (in my case, its Moscow. T_T so al least try imagining how’s it gonna feel.. it feels like smoke and dust though.. huhu. well, at least I tried….)

22) Go for a walk, run, cycling, swimming…

23) Rent a funny video and have a good laugh. Or rent a sad video, cry ur hearts out till u feel like u cant cried any more. Trust me, crying is really tiring. It makes u look ugly too!

24) Move ur furniture and ornaments around, change rooms, paint walls. New orders gonna make u feel different. Even a slightest feeling also can.. no need for such a big turn over.

25) GIVE urself something to look forward to.

26) Invite friends over for dinner. If u cant really cook, just order then. At least no harm can be done to ur kitchen!!

27) SMILE – is contagious. It can spread to others.

28) Make someone else’s day happier.

29) Try to create or be in a positive surrounding.

30) Choose ur friends. Stick with those who really are ur friends. No need for pretenders here. Well, if u really need to pretend, stick with those who help u to pretend to be someone’s good then. (Actually for me, just don’t be a pretender. Its so tiresome.)

This article I get from somewhere back in year 2005 in which I cannot remember.. (so sorry Mr. author).. hehe. The original piece actually have 25 ways to be happy. After trying it out, I think I’ll put some of my personal ways here. U can add too if u want. Just make sure u tried it out and turns out to be a better happier man!!! Best of lucks!!
